Pumpkin dog biscuit ingredients:

1 cup pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)
1 cup oats
2 cups whole wheat flour
1/4 cup peanut butter (must be without xylitol as that is toxic to dogs)
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Instructions:

Begin by preheating the oven to 300°F and lining a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Put the oats in a food processor and blend until it reaches a powder-like consistency.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree and the peanut butter. Stir the mixture until it’s well-blended.

Add the flour, oat-powder, and cinnamon to the wet ingredients. Mix them together until a dough forms. You can add flour as needed if the dough is too sticky.

Sprinkle flour on a flat surface and roll out your dough. Stop when the dough is about 1/4 inch thick.

Once you’ve decided on the desired shape of your treats, use cookie cutters to cut them.
