No, Wondercide Flea & Tick Pets + Home should not leave an oily residue or stain pets or household surfaces. While Wondercide sprays contain essential oils, they are water-soluble. They will dry rather quickly, leaving pets, furniture, bedding, and flooring stain-free. For specialty surfaces, such as fabrics like satin, leather, and suede, we recommend testing a discrete area prior to a full application.

Lemongrass oil has a natural yellowish tint and may temporarily discolor light-colored fabric, carpeting, or surfaces. The tint should fade over time or wash out. The other three scents (cedarwood, peppermint, and rosemary) are clear. All scents are equally effective.

It's not necessary to wipe up the solution after application, however, if you've sprayed a little more than directed, wipe up the excess with a damp cloth or similar. Floors may be slippery when wet.

The outdoor concentrate is not known to stain surfaces outdoors or leave an oily residue when mixed properly and used as directed. Like indoors, test a discrete area before a full application especially for less common surfaces.

FOR TOPICAL USE:
Results vary based on the number of pets being treated, the size of your pets, and frequency of use. The 16 oz. bottle of Flea & Tick Pets + Home typically lasts 1-3 months, depending on your specific needs.

FOR HOME USE:
The 32 oz. bottle treats up to 400 square feet, and the gallon treats up to 1,500 square feet.

When kept in the packaging, the collars are good for up to 4 years from the time of purchase. Once removed from the bag and activated, the collar will repel against fleas and ticks for up to 4 months.

The Flea & Tick Collar is water resistant; however, it’s not waterproof. Remove the collar before bathtime or swimming by simply pulling the collar back through the buckle. Then, put it back on afterward. It's fine if your pet gets caught in a bit of rain or takes a quick dip.

The Flea & Tick Collar is plant-powered and made with natural essential oils, but wasn't intended for consumption. Many pet chews are made from nylon so chewing on the collar without eating it should be fine. If your pet ingests anything that isn't designed for consumption, including part or all of the nylon collar, consult your veterinarian.

Wondercide outdoor sprays are designed to be sprayed on your grass when temperatures are under 90 degrees whenever possible. If you spray in direct sunlight or when temperatures are higher, the application may cause a phytotoxic burn or browning of leaves or plants.

To avoid burning and, if possible, apply in the early morning or in the evening when plants and your lawn won't be in direct sunlight for extended periods.
