What is HOCl?

HOCl, or hypochlorous acid, naturally exists in people and pet’s bodies and is produced by white blood cells as part of the immune system response against bacteria, inflammation, and infections. HOCl defends against infection and speeds up the body’s natural healing process.

How does it work and why is it safe?

HOCl, or hypochlorous acid, naturally exists in people and pet’s bodies and is produced by white blood cells as part of the immune system response against bacteria, inflammation, and infections. HOCl defends against infection and speeds up the body’s natural healing process.

Why is HOCl ideal for pets?

It's effective, it's safe, and it works in harmony with your pet's own natural defenses. It can be used safely and continuously without the sting or damage to healthy cells sometimes associated with conventional productsIt is pH-stabilized to support overall skin/ear/eye/oral health and maintain the body's natural HOCl activityIt’s safe for use on pets of all agesIt’s formulated without alcohol, fragrance, dyes or artificial additivesSafe if licked, rinse-free, non-irritating.

How is it made?

Our products are scientifically formulated and produced through a patented, advanced electrochemical process. Our process generates a hypochlorous solution using electricity, NaCl (table salt) and purified water. This process produces the identical HOCl our white blood cells produce. Products are produced at very precise PH and concentration to ensure the solution contains Pure Hypochlorous acid. Our Pure Hypochlorous is manufactured in a cGMP Certified and EPA Registered facility where every variable is controlled to ensure consistent delivery in all key targets.

History

HOCl was first discovered in the 1800s through a process known as electrochemical activation. It was used during WWI to cleanse wounds and treat chemical burns. Before antibiotics, HOCl solutions were used to treat gangrene, diphtheria, and scarlet fever. Only until recently have scientists developed the technology to product and bottle it for modern application. With this new capability, HOCl has experienced a resurgence in interest and is now widely used in modern wound care, dermatology, ophthalmology, and as a surface disinfectant.
